I’m sure you need a big hammer! Why don’t you have a look in your own country and see what is being used by visiting a body shop, beside the tools you may need to know at what time you have to use the big hammer.

How are you going to do the job if you don’t even know what tools you need?
Learn how to do it first. Then open a shop.

If you have to ask, you obviously dont know much about body repair/paint. How are you going to do the work if you have no experience and dont even know of the tools involved.
If you are going to hire mechinics to do the work, any worth having will have their own tools.
I suggest you go into business doing something you have experience/knowledge in. Good luck…you are going to need it!

Madeira, my response is that if you don’t know what tools you need for your proposed business, you probably shouldn’t open it. To open and run a business and make it successful, you need to know as much about it as you can learn before you get into it. This apparently isn’t what you’ve done. You don’t seem to even know the basic tools necessary for the work, which brings into question your ability to set up and run the business. It sounds to me as though you need more training and that means more time spent in the garage. If you haven’t done the time necessary to know the work and the tools, how do you expect to succeed?

Umm, you need alot of things. It depends if you need supplies like gaskets and stuff, or if you are just changing wheels.
Definitly a drill, hammer, ruler, That backwards scissor looking like thing for measuring.
Maybe several sets of nuts and bolts, a kit with lots of screw sizes, and 6 and 12 points all of those sizes for that other stuff. Alot of different sizes for wrenches.(Gator grips dont always work)
….Mainly, just go to home depot…..

Sorry! but the truth will help you in the long run. If you need to ask this question save your time and money. Opening your own business you’ll loose money the first 2 years even a home based business. I have operated my own business for almost 5 years I sell and work in the field I worked in for another store for many years so I have the knowledge and training to fall back on.
Please rethink your plan.
