My car was broken into. They broke the very small window on the rear passenger side door. Not the main window – the smaller triangular one behind that. Two places have told me it will cost $300 to replace! The car’s hardly worth that much. Are there any other options?
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
-Dan
We had to have the back glass replaced and only paid $150 you are getting ripped. Go to a junk yard. Do not go to an auto glass shop they charge that much because they know you need the item.

cling wrap, nah just joking
I was also going to tell you that some insurance companies cover that sort of thing but you said your car is hardly worth the price to replace the window so I’ll assume you are not insured, SO, you can do is try to avoid it from happening, try not to leave your car somewhere it may get broken into(although not always possible)
I would also suggest you that you get something to deter theft, steering lock or some sort of security, and don’t leave anything visible in your car that might invite a thief, like valuables
