State: Smog Check Shop Illegally Certified Cars
State regulators have shut down a Los Angeles smog check shop that authorities say routinely and illegally certified high polluting cars. The Bureau of Automotive Repair said Tuesday that during a two-hour undercover surveillance of the AM PM Smog shop, each of the 13 smog tests conducted there were fraudulent.
